Two women, one desire: to talk about the reason we were all created, to glorify God. What We Here For was born out of a shared passion between two friends and sisters, in different phases of life, to see generations anchored in biblical truth and understanding our identity and purpose in Christ. What felt like a random couch conversation about passion for ministry and calling, turned into a women’s virtual Bible study three months later, and ultimately the WWHF Podcast just five months after that. And the passion, purpose, and calling has not stopped there. God has continued to grow our desire for all that WWHF is called to be, equipping us with the fervent aspiration to build discipleship community, further the advancement of the gospel and to steward involvement in community outreach. WWHF is more than just a podcast. It is a “yes” given to God, ready and willing to be multiplied however He sees fit.

Our Story

Meet Kiarra

At first glance, you might see confidence and purpose, but there was a time I was lost chasing the world’s answers, chasing after the “bag,” trying to be that girl, and looking for validation through attention and applause. All it left me with was confusion and a version of myself shaped by other people’s opinions.

But while I was chasing the wrong things, God was chasing me.

Now, you see the woman God has called to life. A woman walking in purpose, with a heart on fire, full of passion, worship, and love for Him. He showed me that my true identity isn’t found in the world, but in Him. Every day is a journey, a choice to surrender, to encourage, to teach, and to minister, helping others discover who God created them to be beyond what the world says. And in between it all, you might find me worshipping in my kitchen, laughing with friends and family, or curled up with a good book.

I have spent the last several years understanding more and more God’s love for me and my job to tell others about it. My heart is to see people living a fully surrendered life to Christ, a life free from shame and condemnation and consumed by the love, grace, and compassion Jesus so freely gives us. Growing up, I spent many years being extremely shy and quiet and it has been fulfilling to watch God redeem my voice in so many ways. And he is still doing it, even now! I just want to be willing and obedient to his guidance. On the day to day, you can catch me enjoying time with my husband and our two girls, relaxing on the couch or somewhere laughing because I love a good laugh.
